Request for Proposal – Legislative and Institutional Framework Consultancy

The Implementing Sustainable Low and Non-Chemical Development in Small Island Developing States (ISLANDS) Programme seeks to address the sound management of chemicals and waste in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS). We, the BCRC-Caribbean, are currently executing the Caribbean Child Project (GEF 10279) which involves nine (9) countries (Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago).

We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Legislative and Institutional Framework Consulting Team with the overall objective to assess and adapt the legislative and institutional framework to support the environmentally sound management of hazardous wastes at the regional level, and at the national level in all nine (9) Project Countries.

Consultancy duration: Eighteen (18) months

Consultancy start date: December 2021

Language: The proposal, including all supporting documentation, shall be written in English
